Brite Monthly – Preschool: December 2025
This Month’s Biblical Theme Is: God is a Promise Keeper
When sin entered the world, God made a promise to His people to send a Savior who would redeem them. Our great God did not leave us to our sin but kept His promise! This month we are celebrating the fruition of that Genesis promise. Jesus is our forever King, Messiah and Rescuer. The stunning beauty of the Christmas season is that God is the promise keeper who sent the greatest gift of all, Jesus!

Preschool Perspectives
This Month’s Leader Training Topic Is: Engaging Kids
Engaging preschoolers well requires radical intentionality. Kids learn in so many different ways—some through hands-on activities, others through movement, music, or storytelling. By embracing all learning styles, we create an inclusive, Gospel-centered environment. Another key is preparation—when we come in ready, kids respond with focus and excitement. Additionally, connecting with “kid culture” builds trust and opens doors for Gospel conversations. Finally, smooth transitions help kids feel secure and engaged. Thoughtful and intentional planning in these areas makes every moment with preschoolers meaningful and impactful!
Throughout the month, we’ll explore the following:
Week 1: Learning Styles
Week 2: Preparation and Success
Week 3: The Importance of “Kid Culture”
Week 4: Transitions are Key
Teaching Kids about the Gospel:
The Gospel is the good news. God wants everyone, even preschoolers, to know this good news. Here’s the Gospel in four main words: God, Us, Jesus, Trust.
God
God is a loving God who is all-powerful and great. He knows and sees everything, and rules over everything. God created all people in His image, and we are special to Him.
Us
But we have sinned, and our sin separates us from God. What is sin? Sin is anything we think, say or do that disobeys God.
Jesus
God loves us so much, He sent His one and only Son, Jesus. Jesus came to save us by dying on the cross for our sins. Jesus rose again three days later and is alive!
Trust
God gives salvation, rescuing us from our sin, to everyone who places their trust in Jesus as their Savior. What is trust? It means that we rely on what Jesus did.
